Throughout my sampling process I have used a number of techniques and processes such as Magic Tough printing, procion dying and mark making as well as hand painting and embroidery.

BEVERLEY'S SAMPLES
Throughout my sampling process I had to try and find a way to match my fabric colours with that of my sheetwork. Whilst doing this I looked at using procion dyes which resulted in the really bright samples in the top images. I love these but they don't fit with my colour theme so I eventually went back to using Brusho inks like I use on my sheets.

HEIDI'S SAMPLES
Whilst I was in the print room I have used a wide mixture of colours and layers to reflect the colour spectrum of the galaxy that is 'Out of this World'. To do this I have prepared backgrounds with stripes of colour to then print on. Following my theme I also tried to print on foil, which is more futuristic than fabric.
